    There’s a scene in Wuthering Heights where Nelly Dean goes out into the woods to tell Heathcliff that Catherine has died and finds him leaning against a tree muttering something to himself. He obviously already knows/could sense somehow that she is dead and has been dashing his head against the tree. I like to think that this song is what he was muttering.

    I love songs like this that are so full of emotion.
